WELCOME FROM THE FORUM CHAIRS
It is our great pleasure to welcome delegates from across disciplines and regions worldwide to this year’s Hong Kong International Nursing Forum (HKINF). Guided by the theme, “Digital Empathy, Innovating with Heart”, we will examine how technological innovation can be integrated into nursing practice while preserving the core values of compassion, humanity, and care. The theme emphasises the role of empathy in shaping how these technologies are designed, implemented, and experienced in clinical practice and nursing education.
The event is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from 23 to 25 November 2026 at the Medical Campus of The University of Hong Kong. Day 1, on 23 November, will be dedicated to the HKINF programme. As a special highlight, on Days 2 and 3, 24 and 25 November, HKINF delegates can also experience the Open Forum and Plenary sessions of the U21 Health Sciences Group 2026 Annual Meeting.
By bringing together clinicians, educators, and researchers from nursing and beyond, the event provides a space for critical engagement with the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. Through the exchange of ideas, evidence, and practice-based insights, participants will contribute to the development of meaningful and empathetic innovations that advance patient care, nursing education, and research.
We look forward to seeing you in November 2026!
